Teaching

I teach regularly courses on computability and undecidability, speech act theory, the semantics/pragmatics distinction, and Aquinas. I have occasionally taught a somewhat idiosyncratic course on Descartes. I also teach survey courses on medieval philosophy, 20th century analytic philosophy, and philosophy of language.

In Fall 2009 I will be teaching the graduate proseminar, and the computability and undecidability course (379).

In Winter 2010 I will be teaching our new first-year course called Sex, Love and Death (259) as well as our survey course in medieval philosophy (303).

I will be continuing as honours advisor and so overseeing the seminar for thesis year honours students.
