I teach regularly courses on computability and undecidability, speech act theory, the semantics/pragmatics distinction, and Aquinas. I have occasionally taught a somewhat idiosyncratic course on Descartes. I also teach survey courses on medieval philosophy, 20th century analytic philosophy, and philosophy of language. At the introductory level I general teach our Sex, Love, and Death course.
In Fall 2011 I will be teaching Sex, Love and Death (259), the third year survey course in philosophy of language (471), and a graduate seminar in philosophy of language (671).
In Winter 2012 I will be teaching the computability and undecidability course (379), and the medieval philosophy survey (303).
I will also be serving as undergraduate director.
